P90X3 Nutrition help?

So I read the nutrition guide and based on my results I should be eating 1500 calories, and 40%carbs and 30% fat and protein. I used to be eating around 1310 calories and 55/30/15 (carbs/fat/protein). Now, I'm eating daily around 1700 calories. And I have no idea how it's happening! I use to be eating around 1310 and now that I know I can eat up to 1500 I eat over. So I was thinking if I keep the percentages for p90x3 on my nutrition, but putting my calories back to 1310? Because when I did that I ate around 1500. So I would like some input on this subject, if I should do that or just try harder? Thanks in advance! :)
