Something I'm considering since they disappeared on me! I would love to hear your experiences...recovery time, amount of pain, how fast can you resume working out, you know, all the basics. Thanks in advance for sharing!!

I had a boob job done a few years ago and I have had nothing but problems. My right one is hard as a rock. They said my body rejected it so it calcified it and our OHIP in Ontario will not cover it. If I want to take it out and try again it will cost $3000.00.
It took my about 2-3 weeks to recover. When the nerves start to re-attach I thought they were on fire. OMG, it was so hot. It takes a bit to get used to because I was worried people would notice and whatever. IF I had to do it over again, I would not do it. That is just my opinion.

Thank you for sharing - mind if i aask a few questions?

    1. DId you get saline, gel or silicone?
    2. Were they implanted above the muscle or under it (everything I read says under the muscle is tougher for those of us who lift weights often - hardness being one of the potential issues)?

I got the Gel ones and I got them put between the muscle so that you can't tell that they are implants.
I love how they look, I just wish that I didn't have the issue with the one.

Yes! And I'm super excited about it. Two kids and yoyo dieting (going back and forth between a C and an H) my girls need attending to. I just want to be a full C again. Nothing too fancy

NO, but I have not reached my goal weight yet. I was fine pre the 70 lbs, but I will say this, if "they" disappear on me, I will go buy them back - LOL!

I actually did it the other way around, I got a boob job last month and now im trying to lose about 20#, I might want to get them bigger so I want to see how they will look when I lose weight, I didnt have alot of fat in my breast so I dont think there will be major change but because I could not go bigger at my first surgery I want to do it again once they settle. Convincing my husband will be another challenge.
Im 3 weeks post and have not gotten the ok to run yet, I hope soon because I really want to....mine are saline, subpec

I got a boob job when I was 20. Went from an A cup to a full D. Mine are Saline, placed under the muscle. The first 3 days after the surgery are the hardest, after that each day gets easier. I think I had to wait 6 weeks before resuming my workout per doctors orders. It took me awhile before I could lift my arms over my head again too. But I love my boobs and have never had any problems with them. The doctor was great and I plan on going back to him again after I lose these 45 pounds to get bigger implants.

Feel free to add me as a friend, we can motivate each other. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. :)

Yep, I got mine 10 weeks ago, really happy with the result.
I've just been cleared to exercise again, I need to get back down to my goal weight as I gained in the recovery time but it was my own fault for not eating the right things. Easy to put on 10lbs, not so easy to lose it, back to the gym for me!
