Well- I know in the 1700's they tried to replace/substitute fish with breadfruit to sustain the English slavery population since they couldn't stand up to the fish consumption demands.

I love that you know this!
    You're welcome.
LOL the things you find out when you read up on weird things. If you're bored at work read this fascinating story- seriously.

Wow! some people are pretty rude....

The best way I can describe breadfruit is its kind of like green plaintain and less of a fruit. It's a savory item that you [generally] boil and mash and can eat it with other forms of protien. it also has a moderate glycemic load, as compared to other foods.

What do you mean "other" forms of protein. There is almost no protein in breadfruit. It's all carbs.
Didn't anyone take history in this forum? Look up Captain Cook and Tahiti.

    HA- beat you too it.

It was Bligh who mounted the expedition to harvest/cultivate the breadfruit by the way- not Cook. Cook was bludgeoned to death on a beach in front of Bligh.

I didn't say it was. I gave the reader a point to start investigating the history.

Please don't answer if your not familiar with the fruit.

Of course not, it's a fruit made from bread!

Lol, it seems everyone answers when I say don't answer unless you have the answer. I should use this on my transverse abdominis question in the other forum. Ha ha ha. Still don't have answer there.

Brb I am so going add this sentence in my other thread.

Sure you did. Buddy told you to google it. There are only a few that really work, and they're all over the web.

As to breadfruit and paleo, it's cool for a paleo diet, but be sure it fits your calorie goal, if you're trying to lose weight.

I suspect if they were that motivated they wouldn't be asking said questions on an internet forum though. :(

Most of the ones I find are just variation of stomach vacuum. But google also remembers what you searched on your computer and puts those as your top of your list so it great that gave his google link instead other wise I would be still be getting a lot Arnold Swarzenegger and stomach vacuum articles. Yeah that's how I found out about that exercise.
