Going to Great America in Illinois - Will I fit on the coasters?

Hi am going to Great America this Saturday and am very fearful I will not fit on the coasters. Could you please tell me your experiences?

I am 5'0 and about 195 pounds.

Usually the web site will tell which rides have weight/height restrictions. Although at 195 I think you'd probably be fine.

I hope so. A number of years ago, I saw an overweight woman try to ride on Batman and was told she had to leave the ride due to her size and people laughed, snickered and pointed. No joke. I was mortified for her.

I can ride some of the coasters that are at my local amusement parks and I am 292. What prevents me from riding some of the coasters is I am big breasted and have trouble with over the shoulder harnesses.

At the parks I've been to - the rides that have smaller seats have sample seats before you even get in line. So you can either try the seat or just give it an eyeball to see if you're going to fit. But I've never had a problem fitting on a ride and I used to weigh a little more than you.

I was mortified this summer because I did not. But I'm 6', and was 298. I've lost five inches from my hips since then.
You're much smaller than me, you should be ok.
Good luck getting them to contact you back though. I tried before I went and never heard anything, filed a complaint after I went just saying I wish someone had responded to me beforehand so I could have avoided the situation and never heard anything. Not a huge deal but still.

Most parks have sample seats you can try so you don't have to stand in line and then find out you don't fit.

I've heard that the general rule is that if you're a size 18 or up, you should try the seat first.

I fit on all the coasters when I was size 18. For whatever that is worth.
