Hello everyone,

I'm on the process of bulking, or at least i think i'm... I will hit the gym 3 to 4 times a week, and since i'm a recovered obese i don't wanna gain fat percentage from all the extra calories that one requires to bulk...

So, my questions are. Should i only consume the extra calories on days that i actually work out, or the bulking process requires that i mantain the extra calories throughout the week regardless of working or not working out ?

Thanks in advance. ;)

Okay, so your goal is definitely gain muscle mass right? It's hard to not put some fat back on because to go through mass gains you have be at a caloric surplus, how "clean" you eat can affect the amount of fat. Are you eating at maintenance now or still at a calorie deficit? Do you have a structured plan or just "winging-it"?

You will gain some fat, no real way around it. You can control the rate of fat gain to a certain extent by minimizing the amount of the surplus.

Just need to approach the lean bulk slowly if you're that worried.
