    Hi,
Do you mean once you have logged them in your diary? are you using the mobile app. or the full site? on my Iphone i can just swipe from the right of the food and it comes up with a delete option.
  • On my pc, at the end of the line, there is a '-' (minus) symbol. I just click on that and it goes away.
  • Is there a way to delete the "bogus" food entries that have just calories and not the other nutrients/fats/carbs/proteins, etc? the food lists are cluttered with garbage like that. I tried to enter "dried apricots" and got a dozen entries half of which had no suitable information for folks that want to track info other than simply caloric count.

In your Daily diary just hit the red - sign on the right hand side and it is gone.
In the Recent Tab you have to wait for them to drop off the bottom of the list as you slowly add other food items to it.
In your Frequent tab there is a delete button at the bottom.
Once they are in the Database you have to live with it until MFP comes up with a plan to cleanup the database.

Please check this link to a good posting about Logging accurately and selecting/editing food items from the database.

Rather than quoting and re-posting my message from another MFP Thread go to this link and check the two posts I made on page 1. The links in the second post are probably the most important.
