A 25 Year dream has come true...!

I started an Adult Ballet Class yesterday and it was Awesome! The pace was steady, the instructor was very professional and precise and even offered one-on-one during the group learning the basics. Since I was a little girl I always wanted to dance so this is a huge deal for me especially since I'm well over 30.

I will admit, my whole entire body hurts and is sore. I worked muscles and parts I obviously don't use daily and it was almost impossible to walk late last night. Any dancers here? and if so, any suggestions on what to do to soothe the body/muscles. Thanks!

    Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS) might be what you are experiencing. When it happens to me, soaking in water, gentle exercise, and not too much rest plus smaller meals tend to help me out. Hope you get back to class soon - it sounds like fun. :)
