Is it too late to learn how to do a cartwheel?

This is me: male, 38. SW 230, CW 145.
It's been a long, LONG time since I did elementary gymnastics, but I've been wondering if it's too late to start applying a slimmer me to some basic movements. Simply put, I've got a five year old girl with an interest, and while she gets into the classes typical for her age I'm curious as to what *I* can do.
So, cartwheels! Would it event be advisable for me to learn how at my age? And even if so, how? I'm not really at the point to take a class, and the tutorials I've found online seem to be only for kids.
Thoughts?

Never too late for a cartwheel.
Any tutorial for kids should work for an adult.

Why not. We do them in my martial arts class occasionally. Good for core and balance. Some of them are not very pretty, but you've got to start somewhere. There is a gymnastics gym near me that offers an adult class once a week. Maybe you could find something in your area.

Good luck! I'm sure you can learn...I think I'll pass on that particular goal myself but it can't be that hard to figure out...?0

It is not! I could never do them as a child. I was too afraid of falling on my head. I have a young relative who is special needs and he recently showed me that can do a cartwheel. When I told him I never could do one he insisted on teaching me. I can never say no to him so at 50 yo, I learned do a cartwheel.0

I actually tried one a few weeks ago. I'm in my 40.'s. Ds dared me. Went ok but it felt like I pulled a muscle in my inner thigh. Definitely start stretching for it first.0

You can do it!
I was a senior in high school before I learned. No tutorial......I just kept doing it over and over (and over). I'm sure I looked ridiculous at first.0 -

That's awesome, thanks everyone for the stories and encouragement.
I've since found a variety of adult cartwheel how-tos on Youtube, even a couple from Crossfit types. Sounds like it's never too early to learn.
I don't expect to take on many ninjas in my neck of the woods, but being able to cartwheel out of a shuriken's path has always appealed to me. Here we go.
