Greek yogurt and acid whey.

I read this a few days ago and I thought I'd share it with you guys since a lot of people that seem to frequent the forums are not only concerned about getting/keeping their bodies healthy but also seem to care quite a bit how their eating practices affect out planet.

If you're too lazy to click the article basically states that the popularity of Greek yogurt is producing a crazy amount of whey faster than they know what to do with it.
grumble grumble.. I can't get the link to post

They'll figure it out. Look at soy oil production, the slop that was the byproduct was transformed into a health product, or at least that was the marketing back in the 60's, now everyone loves tofu and soy milk....lol

This actually looks like a great opportunity.. Not a problem

Oh, I never said it was a problem. I think it's more of a conundrum, really.

I'll be interested to see what kind of uses people come up with for all that leftover whey. Personally I just strain the whey out of the commoner yogurt that costs half as much and dump the whey in my compost.

That other thread posted, that's just being ridiculous.
