Weird sleeping problem

I have a problem when slee
ping
The dream is I can see myself I feel normal but i can't wake up
I can see my bedroom etc

    That's a super legit thing. My brother had it real bad as a kid. It used to happen to me every once in a while, but hasn't for a long time.

    Ive recently had it thrice, dunno whats causing it either.

    The last time I had it was probably like 6 years ago. It didn't last horribly long, but I recall a huge black figure standing next to me in the room with its face really close to mine. So freaky.

    I had that today as well it happened 3-4 times today iv had it before never knew what it was called

    I've had a similar experience but it was triggered by PTSD. I don't know if that's applicable at all for you, but a suggestion if you think you might have it as well.
