    Not sure why everyone is just jumping to the conclusion its carbs when 1) she did not even eat that much 2) I have never seen anything from a reputable source that links sadness with carbs (other than teh sadz when you do not have enough cals/carbs left for ice cream) 3) there are so many other reasons that people get sad and/or lethargic.

    @Sidesteel has a point. Sometimes moods just happen. While our intake does have a profound effect on our overall health, not everything about the human condition can be manipulated away with The Perfect Diet. We will still get happy, sad or whatever because we're people.
