Not sure if this will help anyone else, but I recently saw my nurse and have been referred to a Gym programme run in Bexley borough.
It is 12 weeks of part-time PT and half price membership (you have to sign up for a year) - so £20 a month for unlimited gym and swimming.
Thought I should share in-case it can help anyone else who has a lot of weight to lose.
