The one remaining trouble zone is my stomach area - I'm continuing to try and lose overall weight but I would like to know what you think are some of the best ab/core exercises? Please don't say planks, my arms can't take it...

What level of fitness are you currently at?

Bird dogs are a good exercise to strengthen the core for beginners. Here is a link to the creator of the program I am on explaining some variations: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CbDUTlil_A

Cross arm crunches, elbow to knee crunches, and alternating legs raises are great as well.

Here are some ab/stomach workouts that I particularly like:

    Hanging Leg Raises
    Crunches/Sit-Ups on Decline Bench
    Pallof Press
    Abwheels
Side and Front Planks (sorry! forget I said this last one)

If you're doing any strength training, I find that certain exercises really activate my abdomen. So you may want to incorporate these into your program (if you've not done so already): standing front dumbbell shoulder raises, front barbell squats, and standing barbell bicep curls.

Hope this is of some help! Good luck!
