    (Swimming teacher + coach) Tankinis are usually appropriate, so long as you stick to full coverage bottom pieces.

    Lands End has a good selection of both one piece and tankinis and shows how to measure for a longer torso. I have bought the last couple of swim suits there - very good quality and selection esp for tall and long bodies. Good luck - swim suit shopping is stressful!
