    My BMR is ~1660. My goal for a 1.5 pound deficit is 1570. There are days where I don't hit BMR because I didn't get as much activity in, since I eat back my calories, yet I'm losing. As @walkingalong said, when you're much heavier it's fine to eat under it.

    You're only a little under though. MFP recommends some 500 calories under. IMO that's way too much.
