Weight gain after stopping Anti-Depressants

I stopped taking sertraline (generic Zoloft) a little more than 2 months ago at my highest dosage I was taking 200mg , but I was only on it for 7-8 months. While I was on it I remember losing weight and not being able to figure out why, I'm 6'2 and at my lightest was at 168 (was 174 pre-meds). Now since I have stopped the exact opposite is happening I am gaining weight (currently sitting at 195) and I can't get it off no matter how hard I try. I workout everyday in the morning with a 5-6 mile jog after work every night.

I'm just curious has anyone had an increase in weight AFTER stopping, and if so what is the cause for it and how long can I expect to have to deal with this because I don't know if I could handle weighing in at over 200lbs.

Have you started to possibly cope with food now that you are off the medication? If you're not tracking and measuring everything you're eating it's very tough to know exactly what you are consuming. I stopped meds as well, at a much lower dose, but nonetheless found that it was not overly difficult for me to lose. I actually lost more easily when I stopped after an initial stall in weightloss. Good luck!
