Yay or nay?

That's 'Public Display of Affection' for those cavefolk not legit with modern lingo...unless you have a really awesome personal data assistant...

    Yay.

But depends on the venue. What I find acceptable at a rock concert vs. Disneyland differs.

    Absolutely mandatory!

However, a note to all the idiots I seem to be dating lately: sticking your tongue down my throat and playing with my boob 2 hours after we meet is NOT affection.

Holding hands, little kisses, a gentle caress... sigh. He's out there somewhere.

PDA's seem to be okay. However, when my wife and I show signs of affection in front of our 21 yr old, it grosses her out.

How does she think she got here anyway?

Try being on the opposite end of things, aiming for a little peck on the cheek and your partner can't handle anyone seeing it in public. Nothing quite like being rejected by your own date just because they can't handle anyone else seeing a little kiss!

Yes, as long as it's done with some class. There's nothing wrong with showing someone how you feel about them (even in public).

I was at a karate tournament yesterday and moved from my favorite spot for this very reason. I am all for affection, but a couple right in front of me was going overboard with it. I felt very uncomfortable and seeing is how kids were at the tournament really not appopriate.

no big deal... as long as it doesn't illicit questions from a 3 year old walking down the street with their parents...

I'm British too but have no problem with two people showing affection and making each other happy.

Let's throw gas on this fire. What about when it's two guys? Two girls?
I watch, unblinking, while I slowly touch myself?

Why would that make any difference? That's not nearly as inflammatory a remark as it would have been a few years back.
