New fitness regime - how many calories should I eat?

So I took about two weeks off from serious dieting in order to reign in my mentality back. I was around 106 lbs and I'm certain that I'm around 110 lbs again. (5'5.5") If not 110 then higher, but I can't check right now.

I just started a lifting program. I go four days a week: I do legs and abs for two days and upper body for the other two.

Here's the thing though, I have no idea how much I should be eating. I've been eating anywhere from 2,000 to 3,500 these past two weeks when I wasn't caring, and I gained weight fast. I'm still pretty active though and I still do cardio every day. I know I was underweight and needed to gain, but I'm sure all of it was fat. I'm trying to gain muscle mostly, and avoid as much (if not all) fat gain as possible.

Should I eat around 2,000 still (maintenance)? I'm unsure of what to do.
