Fit Bit Help

So I got a fit bit flex. I have it sync to here but im not sure if I should eat the extra calories it gives me here? It gives me roughly 500-700 extra calories a day when I work. Do I eat those back? Yesterday I burned 3371 calories and fit bit says I should eat 2177 calories while myfitnesspal is set at 1730. I'm lost at which I should eat at.

You can eat as many of those earned calories as you want/need. It sounds like you might have selected the incorrect activity level in MFP if you are burning 3371 calories a day on work days. Did you choose active?

Also, be sure Fitbit is set to the same level as MFP. Another thing I would suggest is to "allow negative calorie adjustment" on MFP so on days when you don't burn as much as Fitbit expects, it will take calories away from your daily goal, just as it adds calories on very active days.

I have it set at lightly active as I only work part-time. I work 3 days one week and 4 the next.

I eat mine. I find fitbit monitors my calorie burn better than the guesses I put into MFP about my activity level when i started - and as fitbit amends that for me I see no need to change things.

I'm lifting though - and I've found my body won't let me do that if I try to stick to a large deficit - so I won't consider not eating those calories back - I need them!

I want to lose 1.5 pounds per week, which translates to a 750 cal/day deficit. So I eat 750 less than what the Fitbit tells me, no matter what MFP says.
