I got a BMR of 1281 and TDEE of 1874. Is 1874 the number of calories I'm supposed to eat to lose weight?
I used iffym.com get these numbers.
I'm 5'3", cw 160LBS, and with my body measurements I got 42.3% body fat using http://www.fat2fittools.com/tools/mbf/

1874 is the number to maintain. You can subtract 15 or 20% to create your deficit.0

If you're following the MFP way, they will give you a number based on your goals and you eat back exercise calories. If you're following the TDEE way, you take your TDEE less 20 % and use that number, but do not eat back exercise calories.0

Oh!! Are you for real?! Well no wonder I wasn't losing weight!! I was eating 1800... :blushing: I'm glad I asked, obviously I hadn't understood this at all!! Thanks for your answers!!
Now does it matter which I chose 15 or 20%?

20 is if you have a lot to lose and 15 for not so much.0
