Low Calorie "Ice Cream" (using bananas)

I'm sure many of you already know this trick, but when I discovered it in college it blew my mind a little bit and made satisfying my sweet tooth way more simple!
Ingredients....
1. Bananas (preferably when they get brown spotted)
Tools....
1. A blender
Process:
1. Peel and slice up your bananas (they don't have to be super thin just 5 or 6 pieces will do)
2. Freeze them overnight, make sure they are very frozen!
3. Pop em in a blender and blend away, it should become a very creamy ice-cream like consistency that is enough to fool your brain into thinking...hey ice cream!
It has as many calories as a banana does so depending on your size of banana that will vary, but as we know calories aren't all that matters!
OPTIONAL:
You can always add a few frozen strawberries, or a spoonful of peanut butter to give it some extra flavor if you like, but I prefer the simple ones myself.

Yes, perfect paired with Hagen Daz (my personal brand preference) Butter Pecan ice cream, and chocolate syrup...and whipped cream...maybe a few cherries.0 -

They are high in sugar, true...BUT natural sugar is more easily converted into glucose to give you some energy, and they won't make you as fat as actual ice cream would haha.
I don't think anyone has ever gained a ton of weight and thought "Aw man! I shouldn't have eaten that banana!" Unless they ate like a whole lot, but at that point your potassium overload would be a bigger problem I'd think.0 -
