Hello out there!

Hi Everyone !

I am not new to MyFitnessPal but I am new to (actually!) committing to a healthier lifestyle. I utilized it a lot last year and then kind of fell back out and put on a couple pounds again. I'm hoping that posting more, reading more, etc. will keep me a little more accountable this time !

So.....here's a little about me!
My name is Kelsey, I'm 27 and I live in Wisconsin. I am engaged to (in my humble opinion) the best guy ever, we have an adorable lab/basset hound mix, I'm a bartender, and I am just finishing up my undergraduate degree (yes, I took a long break from school)!

I am not so much concerned with how much I weigh as with how good I feel (that's not to say I don't need to lose some poundage) and the past few months I have just not felt happy and healthy like I should so I felt like I needed a jumpstart before the lonnnnnng winter sets in. I recently discovered that I actually like running so I have been doing that (in fact I had a personal record in distance today - 3.2 miles!)

So I want to officially introduce myself to the community to say "I'm here and I'm ready to kick some butt!"
