Losing weight during iron treatment

Hello everyone,

I am anemic. I receive an infusion(s) once or twice a year. I know everyone body is different and some people don't gain weight during iron treatments but some do. My body loves to gain weight during and after iron treatment. Once I put on 10 pounds in a month. I have notice if I watch my diet and exercise, I can keep the gain to 5 lbs but I can't lose any weight. I can't lose weight for about 2-3 months after treatment.

I have read on this board about other people have gone through this but has anyone figure out how to lose weight during treatment?
