Minor tweaks to diet resulting in weight loss?

Has anyone ever made very minor tweaks in there diet and it helped assist in weight loss or help them snap out of a plateau?
I eat at this salad spot for lunch every day and I realized this chicken salad I ate everyday that the chicken was mayonnaise based chicken salad so I had them use chicken breast as an alternate. I hope little tweaks like this add up and help me push forward towards weight loss.
Anyone else do this and saw results?

Whatever results in a calorie deficit works.0

If those tweaks result in fewer calories, then of course...minor tweaks can be pretty substantial. Something as simple as cutting out my almond snack every day (a mere 2 ounces), that would result in a reduction of 320 calories daily, and I would lose weight if I didn't replace those calories with anything else.0
