MFP over-reporting iPhone steps

I use my iPhone as the source for MFP's step count. At the end of today, MFP reports 750 more steps than Apple's Health app on the iPhone. If MFP is set to read from the iPhone, why is its step count different than the Health app's? (Or is Health misreading the iPhone's step count?)

Is it in the same time zone?0

Yes, they're both set to Central U.S. time. It's not a big deal as the calories burned is a reference to me, a "reason" to add more steps or an extra trip on the bike to get more calorie credits. Overall I'm succeeding at reaching my initial goals (lose weight and eat better).0
