Protein choices that are lower in fat

I'm looking for good protein choices that are a little lower in fat. I like to have some nuts/peanut butter for snacks throughout the day, but they quickly eat up my fat allowance for the day. Any higher protein-lower fat recommendations?

I treat my fat as a minimum, myself. There's nothing wrong with exceeding it. That being said, nuts are much more a better source of fat than protein to start with.

Some of my favorite protein sources: lean meats, fish, edamame, eggs, cottage cheese, cheeses, Greek yogurt, asparagus, broccoli, quinoa.

Lean meats such as chicken and turkey are naturally low in fat, but having said that, fat is good for you. Not only is it a natural appetite suppressant, it will also help maintain healthy skin, nails and hair as it helps with nutrient absorption.

This sliced deli turkey spread with laughing cow and rolled up. This is my go-to.

That sounds good. I roll turkey slices around string cheese but I like laughing cow cheese better

Low fat/skim dairy, chicken, turkey, fish, lean pork, and even the leaner cuts of beef all work. Also, vegetarian sources like beans, although they will have carbs too.
