24 lbs down in 24 hours, then back up the next 24 hours

So came across these articles of a guy proving the point of how much water weight affects the scales.
First 24 hours, to lose 24 lbs
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2507184/I-lost-nearly-2-stone-24-HOURS-Sport-scientist-proves-rapid-weight-loss-IS-possible-youre-prepared-exercise-wearing-bin-bags-eat-carbs-drink-nothing.html
Following 24 hours, to gain it back
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2510097/Ross-Edgley-lost-2-stone-24-hours-ON-DAY.html
Now obviously I like the writer of the articles, don't suggest people do these things, but it does go to show how much water and carbs play in your over all look, as well as weight.
