Looking to build a support network so if you want add me as friend feel free , most my friends live far from me and life catches up.

I need help with sweating during my workouts, I have eczema prone skin and one of the things that cause rash flare ups is sweat, which cause me to stop continuously to wipe it off or avoiding pushing myself too hard to avoid sweating resulting in a rash on my neck. That is a big problem since I sweat very easily, trainers say it good thing I sweat easily for work out but it is not if my neck has ugly itchy rash that can become semi-permanent hyperpigmentation or stubborn wet eczema if I scratch or rub too hard.

Any suggestion would be appreciate. As well as jokes in need a laugh today since I am feeling depressed.

I have eczema as well but doesn't sound as bad as yours; typically if I shower right after my workout it is good. Don't get discouraged you can do this! Would wearing a headband help at all? Feel free to add me for support. ankdworak

Try wearing workout clothes that are extra absorbent. Sounds kinda silly but maybe try pinning a small towel around your neck while working out? Then immediately shower after your workout. Or maybe try using some of those Ban Refreshing Towelettes a few times during the workout. Good luck!!

Hard to believe (Picture a grizzled , cantankerous Old Bear whining about his heat rash. LOL) but I also have "delicate?" skin. I have to shower soon after sweating or I break out. One thing I have found that makes life a little easier is getting away from commercial soaps. I use old timey vegetable oil/Lye soaps like our Grandmas made but with vegetable oil. Really makes a difference. High Detergent(used/motor oil) soap =BAD!
"K!rk? pure C@stile Soap" was good. Now I use homemade soap.
He@d and $holders is about the only thing I can use on my hair.
Also check out your laundry detergent. Try @rm & H@mmer -for sensitive skin-unscented.
I'd be glad to answer any questions I can.
If any of this helps or not let us know.
    Good Luck.
