I lost about 4 pounds in a few days, and now I've kinda just stayed there. I'm doing pretty much the same thing. I am eating more calories, but no higher than 1200. I stoped my exercise because my equipment broke. What's going on?

That 4 lbs was probably water weight.

Yes! you don't need to exercise unless you are already slim and then because you are young you should be living a more active life style. But not at the gym for heavens sake. Get a life. Take up a sport or something which has a social dimension. this helps make it sustainable.

Because we don't know how skinny you are already, we've no idea if 1200 is a good or bad idea for you. Too many people just pick 1200 like its the right number for everyone.

You'll continue to lose so long as you're in a calorie deficit. It won't be as much as your initial loss, but you'll gradually be losing weight.

1200 calories is likely too low especially if you are exercising. I would recommend calculating your body fat % and then your BMR/TDEE using a calculator like Fat2fittools.com and setting your calories to that. otherwise you'll risk poor quality workouts and start burning muscle instead of fat. You will have an incredibly hard time reaching your goal weight, and have a hard time keeping the weight off.
You aren't going to lose weight every day... some days you will go up depending on your water retention or the time of day. It's best not to weigh yourself every day, every week at a minimum is better. Or you'll start to be obsessed with the scale and on here like you are right now posting.
