I need expert advise, calorie count. exercise. eating calories after exer

I'm 5'11 205 lbs (was 265). 2lbs a week weight loss set me at 1310 calories a day. i ate 5 times today and burned 400 cal. exercising. buy the time I had my work out completed and drank my after workout shake it was 8 pm and i still had 360 calories i could eat (because I added my workout calls). should I eat more of them before bed or not???? if i don't, i worry about being in "starvation mode" and storing instead of burning.

now i know i could have eaten more earlier in the day but I didn't know I was gonna burn 400 working out and that I would have that to eat..

simply search. "eating back exercise calories".
    several well explained threads.
"search" is blue word atop this thread.

Most people eat back half their exercise calories, as MFP overestimates them.

Timing of meals is not an issue unless you have a medical condition. Eating after 8 won't be an issue but if you weigh in the morning you will have a little higher weight due to food and water.

ETA and forget that starvation mode voodoo.
