Juicing

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone out there does any type of juicing? I did it a few months back for about two months and LOVED it. But it became so overwhelming and time consuming during the week .....working 10 hours a day gone 12 when you count in travel time just didn't have the time to do it everyday. But I am thinking about doing it 3 days a week.....Friday sat and sunday, those are my days off....
Guess my question is, does anyone Juice just a few times a week, I will probably do Juicing all day and have something very small for dinner...but keeping it in the fruit and veggie food group?

I came here for a discussion on PEDs, but am disappointed now that I see we're talking fad diets.0

Oh! I thought this question was about the "juice" those muscle guys at the gym drink0

I find juicing to expensive and too time consuming. I use a blender to make a smoothie from 200g of spinach, some blueberries, almond milk, left over veggies...this way I have my fibre and it costs much less.0

I love juicing, because I hate eating veggies....but know I need them...guess MFP people are not too big on it....too bad it really has awesome benefits....sorry to disappoint you all.....
just wondering, how is juicing a "fad diet" ?

I just figure its so much better then the crap you buy in the store and its a good way to get veggies in....because I have a very hard time eating my veggies, not even so much doing it for the weight loss factor...I actually like it......mine is Kale, spinach, cucumber one green apple and celery....I did do it for 2 weeks straight and lost about 9 lbs....but didn't go back to eating healthy after and gained it all back...now I am just incorporating it into my healthy eating....cant hurt rite0

I like to add ginger or jalapeño to my juices.0

please define "crap" food...
there is no crap food or good food, there is just food that you utilize for energy..0 -
I tried ginger ONCE I think I added a little to much...in my naivety I had no clue ginger had bite to it....lol0

IMHO after watching Fat Sick & Nearly Dead, Food Matters, Etc., Juicing is a healthy part of a healthy diet....but can't be exclusive. So I do juice...but I don't use it to replace good food.

Ndj you are rite, to a point, but I look at a lot of the "health foods" that are out there, I guess it depends on what you are trying to achieve, but if they are low in carbs they are high in sugar or low in calories high in fat...I get frustrated trying to find something that has just the rite amount of everything. If you have found something PLEASE LET ME KNOW! because I have yet to.0

that's what I am doing now DEED.....adding it in, but the stuff you buy in stores is not the same, and I don't have the time to do it every day......between 12 gone, working out, kids dinner and that thing what is it I lack...oh yes sleep lol so I figure if I can get a good amount in 3 days of the week....it cant hurt0
