Increase weights or sets......??

just wondering what's better to do.
When finished a set of lifting weights and this goes pretty smooth....add an extra set or increase the weight??

Weight. Adding in additional sets over a period of time is going to equate to a large amount of volume. You'll burn out eventually.0

The next time you do the same exercise increase the weight or add more reps or decrease the rest time between sets.0

Depends on what you are going for. If you're going for muscular endurance, increase the reps or do another set. If you are going for more strength, increase the weight. Obviously you have to add weight at some point in either case, so I'm guessing you're just asking about the actual next time, not a bunch of next times to infinity...0

If you are on some type of schedule, I'd just add in another set to get more time under tension. So when you do up the weight on schedule, you'll hit it0
