From 'normal' to 'fit' girl. Why transformations don't need to be extreme to be memorable.

July :My feelings on this years transformation "staying motivated" (extract from my blog)
I have had a lot of struggles with my weight in my life, and by no means do i think i won't have them again. From barely eating, to binge eating, from vomiting to extreme exercise diets, shakes, i've done it all and whilst some would think that's bad ( and i somewhat agree) i've learnt a lot from going through all of it. Living in a world where diet is something you do to be slim for summer is not the world i live in anymore...
This year has been a complete U-Turn for me, i've built muscle, i've sweated i've cried, but from doing these things i've realised how hard i can push myself and the amazing results i can get from it. I genuinely wait for the next workout in excitement, doing a hardcore exhausting workout surprisingly has made me more energetic.
I know that i can be good, i know i can achieve because i have achieved and i feel the difference in pushing myself, i have order and structure.
In summary i'm the same weight, but i look better, i lift heavier, i run further and i am passionate. I don't hate my body, i love it and i love pushing myself to see what my body can do.So it takes me longer to get to where i want to be, atleast i'm on track. Some people will see abs within 6 weeks, sometimes it takes months, as long as you're doing what you can then be happy with yourself.
September:
6 months on.. my weight transformation on you tube.
I've been working out now for 6 months, it was supposed to be a 90 day transformation, i transformed..but it took longer, it took 4 months.I finally learned how to tighten my core, how to push myself past my boundaries.
I have really changed my life, my eating habits and my overall outlook on life.I have only a few hours to work out a week, i have to use that time or i don't get to workout. It has made me more organised, more focused and more determined to stay in shape. I have achieved my goal, i don't need to push harder, but i always will.. strive to achieve more, or you'll never sustain.
I used to stop when the guys on the dvd's stop, now i stop when i can't do any more.

I am a success story, i wasn't 300lbs... i was 154... but it still effected me, so i changed myself and i'm so happy that i did, i did it using insanity, which isn't for everyone but the strict and hardness of it was a challenge and i love challenges.. I hope my 'diary' entries inspire you.
I eat 1800-2000 calories a day, 5 meals, mostly fruit veg and proteins, rice and plant carbohydrates.
