So about 2 days ago, I tore my achilles. I was told by my doctor to stay off of it for 4 days, but I don't want to just not exercise altogether. I would like to do more strength training, but I don't have any weights available (I just use body weight). Any alternatives? Thanks for reading

if you buy bottled water you can use those or cans of soup as weights. hope this helps... also hoping your achilles heals clean and you can get back to doing your full exercising again.0

Honestly.. just take the week off. Eat less food if you do TDEE method and are trying to lose weight. A week off won't kill you and won't affect your weight unless you don't adjust calories accordingly.0

Best of luck and really, take it easy and don't sweat it. I broke my forearm and the first thing I wanted to do was get back into lifting but that was 5 years ago. The month off and the rehab for another month of so was really no big deal in the end. Take it easy and remember that it's a marathon not a sprint!0
