Is there a chart or something to tell what my calorie intake should be daily to loose the weight that I want to loose? I am trying to loose 1-2 pounds a week.

For most women 1600 calories is a good healthy level to start at for weight loss. Do that and you will level out to about 1-2lbs per week. The first 1 or 2 weeks you might lose more.0

There is no proper number for men or women, as our body size and activity level varies from person to person. MFP should have calculated that for you when you signed up. Go to My Home > Goals to see your numbers, or click on Food at the top of the screen and you'll see your calorie goal at the bottom of your food diary.
Remember MFP does not include calories burned during exercise, you are expected to log those calories and eat them back, although most people only eat about 50% back. This will increase the number of calories you get to eat per day.0 -
Thank you. I went by what MFP had calculated and hoping they were right. It seemed too high. I had my height wrong..so they were unable to calculate the correct calories for me. I fixed my height and then it made the calorie intake right. So now my calorie intake seems more appropriate for my weight loss. Thank you.0
