I'm 7months post baby and really started exercising and eating healthier in the last week of August. I've reached my first 'official' goal, though! From left to right my weights are:

First week of September - 208lbs(I started at 212 though, but I didn't take pictures until 2 weeks in!)
First week of October - 195lbs
November 1st - 180.4lbs

I still have another 30-40lbs to go, but I feel pretty successful because I could actually see the difference in the last picture. Admittedly I was pretty upset after the second picture was taken because I really couldn't tell the difference. Of course, the angles different in the first one but, mehhh.

Terrific progress! Yes, there is a visible difference between the first and second images. It shows up first in the face and your chinline is different. Besides the weight loss, keep up the exercise - it feels good now and you will be sooo glad over the decades.

    Really cute baby, too.

I also see changes in your first and second pic! A big one that jumps out at me is the fold line in your back that is gone in the second pic! You are doing amazingly well. It always impresses me when women are able to to this with a new baby. I didn't have it in me till my baby was 2!! Rock on momma!!!

I am 9 months post baby and our SW and GW seem pretty similar. Well done and I hope I have losses like yours in the coming months! What height are you out of curiosity? You wore that 208 waaaaaaay better than I am!

Oh, I should have said but I'm 5'6".

Haha, thanks ukaryote, I think he's pretty cute too!

It's pretty darn encouraging to know that people can see a difference where I can't, so thanks for all of your kind words! And to those Mama's looking to lose, you can do it! Friend me, if you like!

Most importantly is that I'm doing this with my husband. If he still wanted to eat out all the time this wouldn't work lol. None of it is written in stone, but basically the day we signed up for gym memberships is the day we promised we were no longer going to be eating out/ordering in so much. The first two weeks saw us at the gym like 5/6 times each week, and that slowed to a consistent 3/4 times to the gym per week. We did 30 minutes of cardio(elliptical or treadmill usually), and then we circuit the weight machines. When I got to my first mini-goal I bought myself a new bathing suit and now I swim laps for 50 minutes every time we're at the gym. I try to go for 30-45 minute walks when I can, and a couple days ago I bought myself dumb bells, so I'll be adding a routine at home including those for a bit more strength.

All of our meals are homemade now! We eat lots of chicken and steamed/roasted/mashed broccoli, cauliflower, squash, and sweet potatoes, we have lots of stir fries with rice, and I've learned how to make some delicious curry sauce. Breakfast is generally oatmeal or eggs, and we've added tuna and salmon to our menu as well. I snack on popcorn and snap peas instead do peanut butter m&ms and Doritos lol. We aren't following a restrictive diet, but we do try to avoid things we know we can't control ourselves around. This is a change I want to sick, for the benefit of our whole family in the future. :)

    (Ahh, I ramble!)
