Have you been weighing and logging your food? Start with that and take it from there.0

Start now. Your success is in your hands0

The thing is, no one can motivate you except you. What you need to do is sit down and decide which is more important to you, eating whatever you want without regard to the consequences or losing some weight for your wedding or whatever reasons you have. Maybe you can make up a list with the pros and cons of losing weight. Perhaps that will help you to find some motivation.0

Log it, make a plan to exercise, find something that interests you. Are you interested in running? Swimming? Cycling? Pick an activity that you want to do, and see what you can do.0

I felt the same way you do right now and that was what motivated me the most! I was scared that I would never be able to lose the weight that I was just going to give up and be obese for the rest of my life. I thought about how short life is and how I didnt want to spend it being (gross and fat) trapped in a body I hated. I also did the ice bucket challenge and seeing myself on video was eye opening. I looked like a whale! Im 20lbs down and I already feel so much better! I just said enough is enough. My son is also overweight and I knew it was my fault seeing him struggle to play with other children was just another motivation. Take your life back! You only get one chance at it. Dont waste it!0

don't think about it in terms of may 21, 2016. think about it in terms of today. what can you do for yourself today?0

It's pretty much a myth that you need to be motivated to change... because taking small actions can in and of itself build motivation. Like others have stated, what small step could you start today?0

here's some motivation. think about your LIFE SPAN. if you are at a place where you're slightly over weight maybe, imagine if you don't change your life style you'll only continue to gain weight. you may be happy with your life right now but would you be happy in 10 years if you gained another 100 pounds? what detriments will that have on your health and overall happiness?
also, consider this - my mom is very encouraging and supportive of my weight loss because she tells me that she doesn't want to be like her, as she has struggled with her weight for 40 years and she doesn't want me to end up the same way. now imagine all those days or moments where you just felt like cr@p because of your weight - but imagine feeling like that for the next 40 years.
this is what motivates me! you can do it (:0
