does zumba with yoga help lose weight and tone up?

can't hurt alongside a calorie defecit
but I think you need weights and fat loss to show 'tone' which is really just visible musculature and not some magical 'I'm toned' function of exercise
I'd suggest Spanx for your upcoming event0 -
The caloric deficit will help you lose weight, the exercise will help you tone up. You can't spot reduce, and ideally you should be strength training.0

If you're unable to tolerate strength training than yoga and Zumba are great ways to "tone up". You won't get the same results as strength training, but it all depends on how you feel and how you want to look.Personally I'm using Bikram Yoga to help me tone and I LOVE it. I've also done strengh training in the past. The results are very different, but both generally help!0
