how do you create a food in search

Good morning, I use recipes from other sites and they are not in the search option. For example, I made tuna burgers which have the following info per burger. 175 calories, 3.7g fat, 323 sodium, 9.7g carbs, .4g sugar and 24.2g protein. Is there anyway to create this and tag it under lunch or do I have to just select add so many calories and figure it out for the end of day calcualting? Thanks much.

Either click on my foods, then add food, or use the recipe calculator (which I would, in case their calculations were inaccurate). Also, on top of the post following, I should add to use the old calculator (a link on the right), since yes the new one is terrible.0

There may be a better way, but here's how I do it:
I enter each ingredient into the day, like under Lunch. Then I save it as a meal. Next time, I go to My Meals to add it.
That recipe thing has never worked for me, which could be because it sucks or because I do. Either choice seems equally valid to me. So, again, there may be a better way.0 -
you can import the recipe from the URL
Go to recipes
Copy and paste the URL of the recipe you want to include
Match ingredients
Check measurements and save it
I find that a really great option tbh

Thank you - I am going to do this!!0 -
The new recipe tool has always worked great for me. I do think you probably either need to paste in a recipe or use a URL or know how to type in 'recipe terms'.
Making it as a meal is about the same thing but the recipe tool does the 'per serving' math for you, and enters it as one line item.0
