This is really something you need to figure out for yourself and what works best for you. As long as you get in all of your food for the day; it doesn't matter much how much you get in post-workout versus end of the day. The whole concept of an anabolic window for post-exercise nutrition is really extended to at least 24 hours in researchers' opinions; the information is not definitive but at least supports that idea. After your exercise and you're hungry, then eat. If you have a job where you won't have much time to eat later, then eat post-exercise and the remainder later in the day. It's not something to stress out about for sure. :)

Banana or apple, sometimes cup of greek yogurt with ready mix protein shake because of time constraints/convenience.

I'm not usually that hungry after a big workout. It's the next day. That's when I get hungry!

If I do eat after a workout, I eat what I'm in the mood for, just like any other time.

Water is the big thing I crave when I'm done working out. :)

    That sounds relaxing for sure:)
  • I find my self loving tuna salad after a work out.

Simple and quick but still gets the job done. I like it:)

A banana and 10g of almonds. They're convenient and I can eat them on the run without the need for refrigeration.
