A pound a week is a good rate of loss...

If being done reasonably, then ~3-5lbs lost per month when still overweight, and then a few lbs when nearing one's goals. I have no idea what your weight represents in lbs.

But rate of loss is not going to be static for everyone.

If approaching it from a steady pace, could be up to a year assuming you lower the deficit as you near your goal weight. So from 4-5lbs to about 3lbs to about 2lbs per month.

At 6'2, you may start to see a significant slow down around 14st 4. You've lost 22 pounds though in just over a month, which is quite significant and tells me that you've probably got very little muscle mass on your frame as the first bit is usually water weigh and some fat. Makes sure you are eating right and I'd suggest maybe a strength training routine if you have a gym membership(StrongLift 5x5 is great for beginners). Or if you don't then go for long walks.

Ive never done any strength training and you are correct, I dont have much muscle. I was planning on losing more weight and then gain muscle, is that wrong to do that?

Don't wait to start strength training... You won't gain muscle, but it'll help you retain what you have!
