Opti-Fast 900 dieting??

Hi there!
I am curious to know if anyone has used the opti fast 900 for dieting. My sister and mom have used it for their bariatric so there's lots left over in the house and I am newly back at the gym and was wondering if anyone had any experiences with using the opti fast 900 along with proper diet and exercise. I know there is lower calorie opti fast to chose from, I'm just curious about the 900 if it would be beneficial in anyway?
Any comments or help would be great!

If you really think you need a shake and you've got some lying around sure but it's not optimal. Also, when you finish it and you really want another meal replacement product I would recommend getting a Weight Gainer and dialing down the serving size and it's pretty much the same thing but much cheaper.0

Its not necessary - actual food will be a lot more satisfying. Dieting shakes / pills etc don't really teach you how to control your diet in a sustainable way, you would be better of eating at a deficit and learning how to make changes that you can stick to long term.0

I have about 3 bottles of slimfast shakes in my cupboard that I bought years ago before I wised up
they have a shelf-life of half a century (probably an exaggeration) which tells you a lot about what I was willing to put in my body at one stage
so much easier eating real food to a calorie defecit0 -

I'll take the salmon, please!
In fact, I got a piece last night... now to figure out where to work it into my meal plan.
Can't add anything to the sensible advice already given:
read sexypants
eat real food (lots of vegetables will fill you up with very few calories)
learn to eat at a deficit, reasonable portions, habits which will continue for life
learn to exercise moderately (30 min per day), a habit which will continue for life
