Stay off the trails and get out of the gym. Problem solved.

I live near NYC and see this all the time. Working in Manhattan, trying to walk down the street and stop in the middle to check your map or take a picture, really? Or my favorite, get to the top of the escalator and stop, well helllo there are people behind you, we are going to bump into you, MOVE. But the most common, a group of 5 walking next to each other blocking the entire sidewalk, can't pass if you are behind them, can't even walk down the street the other direction, but they are just sauntering along.

I always wonder how people are so oblivious to their surroundings. I mean pay attention you don't live in this world alone.

You forgot the rule that whenever 3 people band together for "safety" in numbers, they also simultaneously become a "gang", "frat", "sorority", or other group and must therefore now bow to no one. (Nor make room on the trail/sidewalk/school hallways)...

    ... You're lucky they didn't pants you.

People who don't look out for bikes and runners are more than inconsiderate.
What I don't like is people walking far out in the road when I am driving.

An armed society is a polite society. I don't run into that crap in Arizona.

Come to Las Vegas. People that don't live here block the pathways just standing there looking stupid when others are trying to walk by and the strip is packed. I'm going to start shouldering and elbowing people that suddenly decide to stop in front of my short behind :|

We get it. You're working harder than everyone else.

I might be. At least harder than these people.
And yes, if you're having a cell phone conversation and are focusing more on that conversation than on people around you or the trail for that matter (zig-zagging to and fro and looking everywhere but around you)...it's inconsiderate and not safe for either party.
    Good day.
