About my goals...
It's telling me 2030 for calories when I'm 140lbs, at 5 feet tall, and I'm attempting to lose 2lbs a week (to be 115lbs) with a sedentary life...HELP!!
How many calories should I reset it to?

Sounds like you may have entered something wrong. Have you gone back and checked what info you entered?0

I would say go back and redo your goals. That seems too high0

You can do the BMR calculation yourself if you follow this guide http://weightloss.about.com/od/eatsmart/a/blcalintake.htm and check is against what MFP says. MFP is about 40 calories too low for me according to this but it will give you a rough idea0

Make aure you selected FEMALE also. That can make a big difference if you selected male by mistake.0

Did you enter in any EXERCISE? MFP will tell you to eat back all calories burned through exercise (and I agree) because it has already calculated and factored in your calorie deficit.
Also, not to be a Debbie Downer here, but if you only need to lose 25 pounds, trying to lose 2 pounds a week is pretty unrealistic (and possibly unhealthy).0 -
Yeah,,,,,,,,,,,,prob set to male.
Recheck because if you eat 2030 you will be crying big time:sad:

Definitely entered something wrong. I'm about you size (over by five pounds) and I get 1,200 calories plus exercise calories I earn.0

I've just used this to work mine out and it tells me that to maintain my weight I need to be eating 1,965 calories a day! I know from past experience if I ate that many calories I'd pile weight on..... (and I have!)
I suppose these give you a good guideline but if you have other underlying health issues which mean you gain weight easily then you have to play around with it.. one set rule definitely doesn't fit all!0 -
Make sure your height isn't in meters or your weight isn't in kilos, hehe. That's often the problem. Double check your age too!0

the exercise threw me off the first few weeks. I didnt understand how Mike had it set up......base line with added exercise. I love that feature. Mainly because I am good at food and logging............not so good at exercising:blushing:0
