Memorial Day NSV's

So having not been happy with the scale the last month or so I was looking for something to remind me of how far I have come the last couple of years.
On Saturday I was taking a break from a landscaping project when I stumbled upon some old pictures and had a small laugh at what I was wearing on Memorial Day 2011. With warmer weather finally arriving I also found it necessary to do some shopping as none of my shorts from last year fit. That led me to locating the shorts from each of the Memorial days since I started making lifestyle changes.
2011 - Size 54's ---> 2012 - Size 46's ---> 2013 - Size 36's
The results have given me some renewed energy towards meeting my next set of goals! How about you MFP, what are some of your Memorial day NSV's?

That's an awesome photo. I'm donating all my old clothes or I know I'll be more likely to just fall back into them again, but it'd be great to keep one pair around just to see the difference like you did!0

Nice job, Ray! I too have been upset with the scale lately, and I always forget that I am wearing size 10 jeans instead of 12 these days. Size 36 is awesome!!
P.S. I like that comforter - very cute!0 -

Great idea!! And great progress - celebrate with new plantings or a comfy chair in which to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor. My plan is to keep a pair of current shorts close by all through the winter and try them on weekly. I love that last year's things are too big and I've had to shop for some new things. All the bigger ones went to a church yard sale. I'm not going back to those sizes again!0

PROUD OF YOU, RAY! :happy:0
