Sky Walkers...

I got one of these free from a friend who didn’t want it anymore – thought I’d give it a bash – she told me it was a crosstrainer, I thought great…can go on that while watching tv, bit of a change from my other workouts…but I set it up last night it is definitely not a cross trainer! I looked on google last night and it’s a “sky walker”…I’ve never used it before, it seems tricky? As in I stand on it and go flying…I’m sure once I get into a motion I’ll be able to keep myself upright….but I guess my question is, does this work? Will it still build a sweat and help with weight loss? Not too worried as I do plenty other workouts and it didn’t cost me anything…just after some advice on them?
