Getting a flat tummy

Sorry if you see this everywhere, I'm posting on quite a lot of forums as I'm desperate to get answers. Ahahaha.

So I have quite a fat, pregnant-looking stomach no matter what I eat [even when I just drink water]. When I wake from the morning, my stomach is sort of slimmer, but there's still a bulge - I assume that that's fats.
I rarely exercise, so that's probably the reason why I have a fat stomach, but a surprising normal body.
My question is: Anyone of you here had the same problem as me, and what exercises+diet+changes to your lifestyle did you guys make in your life?

Etc:
- Exercise how long and what type of exercises?
- Diet consisting of what, around how many calories per day?
- What other stuff did you guys do?

Thanks! I'm really trying to lose weight + be slimmer the healthy way. (:

Dunno bout you but in my case I have realised that unfortunately my stomach is where I carry most of my weight because I have really narrow hips. So in order to get the kind of belly I want I've sort of resigned myself to the fact that I'll just have to be 'too skinny' elsewhere.

I'm currently on 1350 calories per day (lots of fresh fruit and veg, chicken, fish, 90g carbs per day). Doing this for about 6 months definitely got my stomach smaller. If I go over or have a treat day it's back right away tho :/

I go running twice a week and didn't really want to have to do sit-ups as well (dunno why, I guess I didn't want to add something to my routine that I might not realistically keep up?).
But now after losing weight elsewhere and stiiiill having a prominent stomach I guess it is time to try those sit-ups!

    That's really great, thank you!
Yeah maybe I'm blaming my pot belly when really I just need to carry on losing weight/toning up generally, then it will come into line?

^ this is my issues - if my belly was the size I wanted it, through just weight loss, I'd be a stick insect elsewhere. Bulk/cut cycles and lifting is the answer to everything

Could you please explain a little what exercises you do for your core? I don't know anything about strength training!

hellooo, If you mean about your tummy bloating and looking pregnant sometimes, I totally get that, I'm pretty sure that's to do with bad digestion etc sensitive to some foods. Something that I have found which helps is to take a probiotic + yakult and that really helped me bloat less :)

Also get it. No idea how to get rid of it. Even when I was a very low weight, I still had it. For me it's an internal problem, but because it's not harming me I can't have the doctors do much about it.
I would suggest some lifting if you're gonna get into exercise :) to alter your body shape it's the best bet in my opinion. But do whatever works for you :)
