Off the tracks, need help getting back on

I have been logging for 137 days. I previously lost 18 lbs in about 3 months and i was all excited. I have done this all by eating right and working out. But for the past few weeks I have been slipping and gained back almost half the weight I lost. I want to get back on the tracks but I am having a hard time finding the motivation. It doesn't help that I'm a full time student and full time worker so ive been really busy with midterms.

What is everyone's tricks for motivation? My downfall is fast food because of my busy schedule (and because it tastes good)

My motivation? I get naked and stand in front of the mirror. LOL

Seriously though, motivation is a muscle. Work it and it gets stronger. Force yourself to go work out even if you don't feel like it. Force yourself to weigh and log your food. Force yourself to make better decisions consciously. After a while, it becomes less about forcing yourself to do it and more of a second nature. Do you want it? Then get out there and do it.

Fast food can be okay, as long as you're picky. Never buy fries. One McDonald's cheeseburger only has 290 calories. The Big Mac, by itself, has 530. The great thing about McDonald's is that the post their calorie count. I'd stay away from Panda Express, that's about 1,000 calories per bowl. Chick-fil-a's calorie counts are similar to the Big Mac, so a sandwich and no fries is about a meal. At Steak and Shake, the Original single, no cheese, with fries, is about 500 calories. So, don't eat fast food more than twice a day, select the lower calorie items, and eat light for your third meal and you'll be fine.

Stop the excuses and just do what you have to do! That is all I can say to myself and to you.

If you want it you have to work for it. No one else can do it for you.

If you don't do the work, then you must not want it. That simple.
