Wine

I'm going wine tasting with a friend this weekend. How many ounces do you think one of those pours are? 1oz? 2oz?

Strickly speaking they should be 1oz, but some pourers get more generous (former cellar door worker here, I was "nicer" to people I liked LOL).

Most tasting rooms in my area do 1 oz pours, though 2 oz pours aren't unheard of. If you get a flight at a restaurant, they may be on the larger size. Don't know how close you are to your friend, but my husband and I often share a tasting, so that we can visit more places. Have fun!

They are probably 1 oz pours, but I would just ask them.

One does not have to drink to the last drop each pour. I was in California last month (Sonoma and Napa) and I usually drank about half of each pour of one ounce (except for the pour of the $99 bottle of sparkling - so yummy).
