I'm going wine tasting with a friend this weekend. How many ounces do you think one of those pours are? 1oz? 2oz?

I would say 1 oz. do a test pour before you go0

Strickly speaking they should be 1oz, but some pourers get more generous (former cellar door worker here, I was "nicer" to people I liked LOL).0

Most tasting rooms in my area do 1 oz pours, though 2 oz pours aren't unheard of. If you get a flight at a restaurant, they may be on the larger size. Don't know how close you are to your friend, but my husband and I often share a tasting, so that we can visit more places. Have fun!0

They are probably 1 oz pours, but I would just ask them.0

One does not have to drink to the last drop each pour. I was in California last month (Sonoma and Napa) and I usually drank about half of each pour of one ounce (except for the pour of the $99 bottle of sparkling - so yummy).0
