FitBit Zip or One?

I have some points to use up from a health program at work and I can get a Fitbit Zip for free or pay $30 for a Fitbit One. I need it to be accurate when jogging on a treadmill. I do have stairs at home (live on a tri-level) but those are pretty much the only stairs I climb on a regular basis. Which tracker should I pick?

Do you have any interest in sleep tracking, rechargeable battery or vibration alarms? The Zip doesn't have those. The One has a nicer display. That said, I have a One but would be fine with a Zip, given how I use it.
There is a new one out that has caller ID, which is kind of nice if your cell phone gets left in a purse in another room often.0 -
Thanks for the response. Is be interested in sleep tracking but don't know if I could commit to wearing the thing every night.0

I bought the One a few weeks ago and it is honestly the best thing I have ever bought fitness-wise. I wasn't sure if I'd commit to wearing it everynight either but it's become part of my routine and I love checking my sleep quality in the morning now! I would definitely recommend it.0

I also highly recommend the one. I have had about 5 pretty bad scares about losing my fitbit one, but now that I've gotten into a routine, I don't go anywhere without it.0

I just bought a Fitbit One last week after returning the Flex. I am unable to sync to my (old) phone so I needed something with a display. The sleep tracking is amazing and the One comes with a wristband that you hook it to when sleeping. I don't even notice I have it on!
I wear it hooked to the center of my bra during the day so it's completely invisible. I wear it on my hip when exercising and I haven't noticed any difference in accuracy.
I have a coworker who has a Zip and she loves it too. It's all about what you want. The Zip has a battery that does not need charging (but does need replacing). The One has a rechargeable battery and sleep tracking.
I know the One has an accelerometer to let you know how many steps you have climbed but I'm not sure about the Zip. I don't really care about stairs so I removed it from my display (it's customizable).
All that being said, I will be buying the Charge HR as soon as it comes out next year.0
